Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 24, 2026.
Luniva is built with a local-first privacy model. Your sleep records, plans, checklist items, game scores, preferences, and core app settings are stored on your device by default. Luniva does not require a user account for core use.
Data we process may include
- Sleep timing, duration, and wakeups you enter manually.
- Derived sleep scores, trends, and in-app insights.
- Optional Apple Health data you explicitly authorize through iOS Health permissions.
- Reminder and app-state metadata required for core features.
Apple Health usage
- Access is optional and permission-based.
- Luniva reads only approved data needed for sleep features.
- You can revoke permissions anytime from iOS Settings.
- Manual edits remain prioritized for edited dates unless you explicitly re-sync that night.
Retention and deletion
Core Luniva data is stored locally on-device. Deleting the app removes locally stored Luniva app data from that device. Apple Health data itself is managed by Apple Health and is not deleted from Health when Luniva is removed.
Luniva does not sell personal data and does not use personal data for third-party advertising. If cloud sync, analytics, or external processors are introduced in future releases, this policy will be updated before those features apply.
While we apply reasonable safeguards, no software system is perfectly secure or error-free. Generated metrics and summaries may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate.
Policy updates will be reflected in-app. Continued use of Luniva after an update means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
